The Boy and the Heron to Finally Release in Indian Theatres

Despite the disappointing news that the film wouldn't make it to Indian screens, the latest offering from Studio Ghibli will indeed be playing in cinemas in the country after all.

After a recent disappointing update that Studio Ghibli’s Hayao Miyazaki-directed anime film The Boy and the Heron would not release in India, Warner Bros. India made a pleasantly surprising announcement on April 8 that it would be releasing the film in the country in partnership with Encore Films.
